What time should you have your wedding ceremony in Bali? From the moment I walked down the aisle and finished the ceremony it felt like I was racing against the clock to get the most sunlight possible. I'm sure most of you will have a similar story. So in order to fit it all in you need to minmise what you need to get done between ceremony and sunset. You will have a beautiful group of people (your family and friends) that will want to say congrats to you after the ceremony is over. Keep this to a minimum. Give them a big squeeze and then move to the next person, share with them that you'll get a chance to see them later or invite them to please come and find you for a dance. Photos will be next, normally family first. Its a great idea to have a small list of photos you want to achieve and then give the photographer the freedom to get creative, besides thats why you've usually hired them because you like their style. And if you're anything like me, you're trying to get back to enjoy a little sunshine during the cocktail hour. So, a lot to fit in. You can float the idea of a first look wedding shoot and grab some quick wedding shots before the ceremony or I've even been in a bridal party where all of the bridal photos happen before the wedding, it was so awesome as the bride and groom were barely gone for long after the ceremony. Also keep in mind that any time before 4pm can be pretty hot. 🖤 What is a Banjar Fee & Do I have to pay it? Yes, you have to pay it. It’s a payment provided to the local village and gives you permission to organize your event in their village and that they will be aware of the extra noise and traffic from your event. 🖤 Do I have to pay an event fee? In most villa weddings there is an event fee to cover which is usually equivalent to one nights stay which covers general wear and tear of the villa due to the event, extra staff and guests. 🖤 How do I reach out to The Bali Bride? Do you go timeless or on trend for 2025? It's such a tough decision but you'll never be upset at making the decision to be unapologetically you on your wedding day. If you want colour, do it, with all the bells and whistles. Throw colour around like confetti. Flowers, menu's, napkins, dancefloors, we've seen so much colour this season and we have loved it! Beige, white and green will always be 'IN'. Always has been, always will be. Its a safe option and its timeless. You'll look back ay your wedding in 5 or 10 years and still love it.
